Resident Evil 2’s full list of Trophies has been leaked over on the forums of PSN Profiles, and this one is going to be a tricky Platinum, as most Resident Evil games are. The game comes with 42 Trophies in total, out of which 28 are Bronze, 9 are Silver, and 4 are Gold (with one, of course, being the Platinum Trophy).
The Platinum Trophy, interestingly enough, will require players to complete the Leon and Claire campaigns at least twice (the second time on Hardcore mode), on top of also having S rank requirements. There are, of course, some interesting gameplay requirements for a few Trophies as well (such as shooting either a licker or a zombie dog out of the air, or shooting Tyrant’s hat off his head), as well as a few that revolve around collectibles, such as reading all in-game files, or opening all safes and locks in the game.
One Silver Trophy in particular requires you to take a maximum of 14,000 steps across an entire playthrough- something that encourages replays of the campaign immensely. Of course, there are story spoilers in some Trophy descriptions as well (which is why I’m not including them in this post), so click on the link above at your own risk.
Recently, we also found out that Resident Evil 2 would use Denuvo DRM on PC. Read more on that through here. The game launches on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on January 25.
