Resident Evil – Project Resistance Teaser Revealed, Features Mr. X

More details will be revealed at Tokyo Game Show later this week.

After images for the trailer initially leaked, Capcom has finally released its full teaser for Project Resistance. Actual gameplay footage isn’t showcased and more details are coming at Tokyo Game Show later this week. However, the teaser does provide a look at the team-based nature of the Resident Evil spin-off.

Four players team up together as ordinary survivors armed with whatever they can find. Much like Left4Dead, there seems to be a director of sorts that sends in threats. One of those turns out to be Mr. X with the director capable of assuming control.

Project Resistance is in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It’s an intriguing concept but time will tell how it pans out, especially considering the fate of Capcom’s other team-based efforts like Resident Evil Outbreak and Umbrella Corps. Stay tuned for more details later this week – Tokyo Game Show takes place from September 12th to 15th.
