Psyonix’s Rocket League will be hosting free weekend starting today, June 5th. It begins at 10 AM PST/6 PM BST and will last till July 9th, 10 AM PST/6 PM BST. The free weekend will apply to PC players via Steam, and to Xbox Live Gold subscribers on Xbox One.
If you decide to try Rocket League out, then all of its modes will be available, including the Casual and Competitive playlists, various Arenas, and other features. Psyonix has supported the game quite strongly since its July 2015 launch, adding new modes, Arenas and cosmetics overtime. If you want to own the full experience, then it’s also 50 percent off on Steam throughout the free weekend.
Those that stick around can check out the anniversary event on July 9th, which adds a 3v3 Anniversary Playlist, a special Arena that channels the Rocket League predecessor Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, and even adds changes to the ball weight.
There will also be special 10th Anniversary balloons based on Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars that will replace normal event crates. These can be redeemed with Golden Eggs for items.
