Rocket League Players Hit 75 Million, 5 Billion Matches Played

Players have scored over 29 billion goals thus far in the action sports title.

Psyonix’s Rocket League may not be generating as much buzz nowadays but it’s still one of the most popular games in the world. Look no further than the developer’s own metrics which state that 75 million people have played the title since its launch. Not bad, considering the title is five years old.

Other noteworthy figures include five million matches played and 29 billion goals scored so far. Over 479 million Premium Tiers have been unlocked on the Rocket Pass and the most popular limited time mode till now has been Heatseeker.

Rocket League has had its share of milestones over the years but the acquisition of Pysonix by Epic Games in 2019 is perhaps the most significant. Though the game was initially slated to be available on Steam up until its launch on Epic Games Store, a latter statement confirmed that it would remain on the former going forward. Rocket League is also available for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
