Rocket League update 1.43, the “Tournaments” update which gives players the ability to create and join tournaments for the game online, has been released for all platforms today, Psyonix has confirmed.
As announced previously, the Nintendo Switch version of the update comes with some special extras, which include a performance mode (which will prioritize frame rate), a graphical quality mode (which prioritized graphical resolution and effects), and some general improvements to the visual quality of the game on Nintendo’s hybrid across the board. It’s pretty good to see Psyonix continuing to support the game on the Switch so well.
You can check out the tournament functionality of this update (which is what it is named after, after all), for yourself in the video below. Rocket League is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with cross platform play available between the PC and PS4, or PC, Xbox One, and Switch versions of the game.
