In November 2021, Riot Forge kicked off its line of League of Legends spinoffs with Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, a turn-based RPG set in the bustling pirate city of Bilgewater. With the publisher gearing up to launch several more similar spinoffs in the coming months, it has now brought the original to new platforms as well.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It was, of course, already playable on the current-gen platforms through backward compatibility, but is now natively available as well. On current-gen hardware, the game runs at 4K and 60 FPS. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what it looks like on the new platforms.
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is also available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Riot Forge has three more games in its League of Legends spinoff line of releases due out this year. Action RPG The Mageseeker, developed by Digital Sun, is out this Spring; action platformer CONVERGENCE, developed by Double Stallion, launches this Summer; and adventure title Song of Nunu, developed by Tequila Works, is due out this Fall.
