Riot Forge is continuing to expand the League of Legends universe in a number of ways, and those efforts will see three spinoffs launching throughout the course of the year, offering players different kinds of experiences in different genres, each telling a standalone story focused in specific characters. The first of those will be The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, due out this Spring, for which a new trailer has now been released.
As its name may have given away to fans of the franchise, The Mageseeker will see players stepping into the shoes of spell-stealer Sylas. After having unshackled himself from chains and escaped from prison, the mage sets out on a quest for vengeance that will take him through the deceptively peaceful and covertly corrupt streets of the city of Demacia. Developed by Moonlighter creator Digital Sun and billed as an action RPG, The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is in the works for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Its launch in Spring will be followed by CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story this Summer, and Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story this Fall.
