Activision’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, developed by FromSoftware of Dark Souls and Bloodborne fame, has received even more gameplay courtesy of PlayStation Underground on YouTube. It’s a continuation of the demo from Gamescom 2018, picking up after fighting the Chained Ogre. Check it out below.
Sekiro’s platforming and sneaking are showcased in finer detail, as players have to navigate past an enormous white serpent. We always knew that the game would still have fantastical elements while being grounded in reality. And really, the Corrupted Monk boss (briefly teased here as well) cements that further, showcasing an array of mystical attacks along with wielding an enormous naginata.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is currently slated to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on March 22nd, 2019. It’s quite different from the developer’s other titles, thanks to mechanics like Resurrection, lack of RPG classes and levelling, and so on. However, we’re certainly intrigued by what it’s had to offer till now, especially with the possibility of it being tougher than Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
