From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has a release date, arriving in March 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. On top of this, gameplay footage has been making the rounds, thanks to the hack and slash being playable at Gamescom 2018. Activision has released its own footage of the demo though so you can check it out below.

One of the things to note here is how stealth kills work. Players can essentially grapple to vantage points and get the drop on foes. However, a stealth kill can only be executed when a red icon appears. Blocking and dodging in combat is possible, but the former has a kind of threshold meter. Once the threshold is broken, either for the player or their enemy, staggering and an eventual execution can then be pulled off.

The gameplay footage also showcases the various prosthetic tools in action, from the axe (which can break through shields) to a fire tool that blinds enemies, sets them on fire, and even ignites your weapon. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is out on March 22nd, 2019. Will you be picking it up? Let us know below.
