Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is Now Seemingly Fully Playable

Developer Ninja Theory's recent Twitter activity seems to be suggesting encouraging behind-the-scenes progress for the upcoming action-adventure title.

Earlier this year, Microsoft and developer Ninja Theory confirmed that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 would be out sometime in 2024, and it seems that the highly anticipated action-adventure sequel is continuing to make steady progress behind-the-scenes as we move closer to its launch.

Ninja Theory recently took to Twitter to share an image of the studio’s employees viewing a playthrough of the game together, indicating that the game has made enough progress behind-the-scenes to be in a state where it can be played from start to finish. The studio wrote, “Nothing beats getting everyone together to play through the game.”

Of course, Hellblade 2 isn’t explicitly mentioned in the tweet, and the screen playing the game has been blurred in the tweeted image, though looking at Ninja Theory’s release schedule, it’s safe to assume that the developer is referring to Hellblade 2, and has blurred the screen to avoid showing something from the game that it doesn’t want shown yet- unless Ninja Theory has another game coming out in the near future that we don’t know about yet.

Whenever in 2024 it launches, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and launch day one with Game Pass.
