Sifu is Out Now on Steam and Xbox Alongside Arenas Update

Sifu is now available on more platforms alongside its fourth major update that brings new game modes to test your skills with.

Developer Sloclap has released a new update for its martial arts-styled beat ’em up Sifu, coinciding with the game’s release on Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The biggest feature in the new update is the addition of new game modes.

Dubbed the Arenas expansion, the update was originally announced back in December. It features nine new locations, along with five game modes and 45 challenges for players to complete. The game modes are Survival Mode, Time Attack, Performance Mode, Capture Mode, and Manhunt.

Each of the game modes focuses on different aspects of Sifu‘s gameplay, from an emphasis on speedy takedowns, to a new King of the Hill-style mode where the player is tasked with capturing and holding an area.

Since its release last year, Sifu has seen a fair bit of success. Publisher Kepler Interactive revealed earlier this month that over 2 million copies of Sifu have been sold so far. It is worth noting that, before today, Sifu was only available on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the Epic Games Store.
