Konami and Bloober Team revealed more extensive gameplay for Silent Hill 2 remake during the latest Transmission presentation. However, it also revealed the actors for protagonist James Sunderland, played by Luke Roberts, and Maria/Mary, played by Salóme Gunnarsdóttir. Check it out below.
Roberts and Gunnarsdóttir speak about sticking close to the original and how it influenced their work. The former also highlights James and how he’s more of an average person than a fighter, one that’s a “little lost at the top of his game.” That bewilderment makes for a more intriguing journey, though staying true to the tone is the objective.
Silent Hill 2 remake launches on October 8th for PS5 and PC, though Digital Deluxe Edition owners get two days early access. The recent gameplay trailer showcased changes to Sunderland’s face, and though the frame rate was underwhelming, its sound effects and presentation are step up from the previous.
