Silent Hill: Townfall Announced, Developed by No Code and Published by Annapurna Interactive

No Code, the studio behind Stories Untold and Observation, is developing a new Silent Hill game in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive and Konami.

Konami has finally given official details on what the future holds for the Silent Hill franchise, and interestingly enough, the leaks have turned out to be largely accurate. Silent Hill 2 is being remade by Bloober Team, while a new mainline instalment has also been unveiled with Silent Hill fMeanwhile, another project in the series is also in the works, and it looks like it’s going for something very different.

Titled Silent Hill: Townfall, it’s being developed by No Code, the developer of Stories Untold and Observation, with Annapurna Interactive publishing and Konami co-producing. The trailer is decidedly cryptic and doesn’t give much away, and there is no gameplay footage shown off, but it certainly sets the tone. Check it out below. Presumably, we’re looking at a horror adventure experience that’ll be much more focused on storytelling than anything else.

No platforms have been announced for Silent Hill: Townfall, and there’s no word on when it’s expected to launch either.
