Skyrim Remaster Patch 1.3 Now Available For Consoles

Not quite as extensive as it was on PC, though.

Skyrim‘s remaster is one of the big success stories of this console generation, which is amazing- it just goes to show you that a great game is a great game, no matter its age. Anyway, given its popularity, the persistent post launch support it has been getting from Bethesda in the form of patches and updates should not be surprising to anyone.

The newest update for the open world RPG, patch 1.3, was made available on PCs a while back. On PCs, it fixed a lot of bugs and, most notably, fixed support for 144Hz monitors. On consoles, the update fixes a lot of general performance issues and bugs the game has.

You can check out the full patch notes for update 1.3 below. Skyrim: Special Edition is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with a version for the Nintendo Switch also possibly in the works.

  • General stability and performance improvements.
  • Fixed an issue where slow time effects weren’t behaving properly.
  • Better support for 144hz displays [PC].
  • Fixed issue with being unable to log into Bethesda.net
