Riot kicked off its A League of Legends Story line of standalone spinoffs in November 2021 with Ruined King, and unsurprisingly, the RPG was the first in what is looking like a long line of additional releases. Plenty of these are set to launch this year, and the one that will be bringing up the rear – at least based on what’s been announced so far – is Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story.
Riot Forge has announced that Song of Nunu will launch for PC and consoles sometime this Fall. Developed by Tequila Works of RiME fame, Song of Nunu will offer a single player narrative-driven adventure experience. Players will play as titular protagonist Nunu, who’s on a quest to find his mother in the “idyllic but treacherous” world of the Freljord.
Song of Nunu’s launch will be preceded by a couple other League of Legends spinoffs, with The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story launching this Spring and CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story set to launch this Summer.
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC at launch.
