It’s hard to believe that after all this time, the long in development Star Citizen technically isn’t out yet. It’s not even in Beta- the playable versions that launched have all been Alpha builds. But it seems to have struck a cord with people, because they are giving money to the project still- a lot of money.
The developer announced today that the crowdfunding for the game has now passed a staggering $231 million. The game had already broken all kinds of records for its crowdfunding, and it doesn’t seem like that’ll be changing anytime soon.
Along with that announcement, they released a new video to highlight some upcoming content. The developers walk us through concept art for the various NPCs the game will have, such as waiters, barmen, and some bounty hunters.
