Star Wars Battlefront 2 was at the center of a controversy surrounding its monetization methods. In many ways it’s a controversy that’s still resonating with recent loot box legislation attempts. Regardless, the game was still success and went on to become a strong title depending on who you ask. The game will continue to push forward in the second half of this year with a lot of new content.
As detailed via the Community Transmission, the rest of the year is still packed. August will see the Separatist Dreadnought and Republic Venator becoming playable in Heroes vs Villains. You’ll also see some big changes to the ships in Capital Supremacy which will now have new evolving phases. Along with that you’re going to see reworking of the spawn system as well the appearance of new Droids for each faction. You can read full details and see screenshots via the official page here.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
