Star Wars: Battlefront 2’s Latest Update Adds General Grievous

The four-armed, raspy-voiced robot commander is now playable in Battlefront 2.

EA has released a new update for Star Wars: Battlefront 2, which begins the process of adding Clone Wars-themed content to the shooter. This update brings General Grievous, the four-armed lightsaber-wielding robot general with a perennial cough.

Grievous’ standard attacks see him using two lightsabers, though of course, on special occasions he brings out all four of them. The Thrust Surge move sees him thrusting forward toward an opponent with all four lightsabers. Unrelenting Advance sees Grievous spinning all his lightsabers around in a circular wall of death in front of him, similar to what he did in Revenge of the Sith. Claw Rush sees him going down on all six of his limbs to move at extremely fast speeds, dealing damage and also being able to escape tight situations.

Grievous has two different appearances in the game, while a third one is also on the way in the update for next month, which will also add Obi-Wan Kenobi and the location of Geonosis. Meanwhile, user on Reddit has also found files in the update that hint at even more unannounced new characters, such as Padme from the prequel trilogy, and Ahsoka Tano from Clone Wars and Rebels.
