Nintendo’s newest system, the Switch, is in a bit of an odd place. It’s been highly successful for the company, being Nintendo’s most successful console since the Wii, with sales on pace to possibly even replicate that phenomenon. Much like the Wii, though, the power gap between it and the other systems on the market often means a lot of big budget multiplatform titles don’t make the system because of technical issues. While some companies have managed to bring their big titles day and date to the Switch, like the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, it seems that can’t be said for EA and Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
According to a tweet by Jay Ingram, a community manager specialist at EA, there are no plans for a Nintendo Switch version of the game. It probably isn’t too surprising, considering the technical issues involved and the overall minor support EA has given the system.
Regardless, the game will launch later this year, on November 15, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
