Mortal Kombat 11 Gets A Switch Gameplay Trailer, At Last

It actually looks really good running on the Switch.

Mortal Kombat 11 is coming, surprisingly, to the Nintendo Switch at launch right alongside the other versions (unless you live in Europe, in which case the Switch version comes two weeks later). And it looks like not only is this version going to be released day and date, but it also will be a remarkably good port that has survived the transition to Nintendo’s portable hardware.

The official Twitter account for the game shared footage for the Switch version today in a brand new trailer, and it’s actually surprising how good it looks. To be clear, it obviously looks worse than the PlayStation or Xbox versions, but given that it is running on the Switch, it seems to look really good, as promised by NetherRealm. If it weren’t for Hellblade existing on Switch, I’d be tempted to call this the best looking game on the system, at least from a technical perspective.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches April 23 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. On the Switch, it will require a hefty download before you can get to playing it, even if you get the physical release.
