Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Pro Update Improves Base Resolutions for Both Graphics Modes

Quality Mode now renders at 2160p over the previous 1800p resolution. Meanwhile, Performance Mode is 1200p upscaled to 1800p.

After Sony previously confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would support PS5 Pro at launch, Respawn Entertainment revealed its various enhancements. Quality and Performance Mode both benefit from higher base resolutions, with the former still outputting at 4K with ray tracing but rendering at 2160p, up from 1800p.

The latter features ray-traced ambient occlusion and reflections while running at 60 frames per second. However, its base resolution is now 1200p, upscaled to 1800p, offering a nice mix of graphical fidelity and smooth gameplay. Of course, players will need to try it out and see just how well the performance holds up.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Together with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it’s had over 40 million players as of September 2024. Check out our review here. A sequel is currently in the works and serves as the “final chapter” of the action-adventure series. Stay tuned for further details in the meantime.
