Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Rated by the ESRB Ahead of March Launch

EA and Respawn Entertainment's action-adventure sequel is set to launch for PC and consoles on March 17.

With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a little over two months away from release, EA and Respawn Entertainment will be in the process of putting the finishing touches on the game and wrapping up production behind-the-scenes. In the lead up to its release, it’s now also hit an important pre-launch milestone.

The Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) has handed a classification rating to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Unsurprisingly, the game is rated T for Teen, same as its predecessor, with its official description mentioning elements that will be familiar to fans of Fallen Order, like players “exploring alien planets while using their Jedi powers to traverse environments and battle enemies in melee-style combat.”

Of course, ratings boards generally don’t tend to hand out classification ratings to games until they’re much closer to release, so this is a good sign that Jedi: Survivor is on track to launch in a couple of months.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on March 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Check out its PC requirements through here.
