Star Wars Outlaws Video Outlines Easter Eggs, Playable Arcade Games, and More from Recent Deep Dive

Learn more about the origins of the Trailblazer, Kay's ship, the role of Protocol Droids, and the pirates roaming the Outer Rim.

Star Wars Outlaws had a pretty hefty showing during the recent Ubisoft Forward, from space combat to taking on a job that involves sneaking (and then shooting). However, the gameplay is also replete with details, Easter eggs and other lore that fans may have missed. Associate narrative director John Bjorling breaks it down in a new deep dive – check it out below.

First and foremost, the arcade machine at the start, Raven-6, is playable in-game. Kay will discover other arcade games throughout the galaxy. Protocol Droids also play a role, with players using them to talk their way out of situations (or make things worse).

The Trailblazer, Kay’s ship, is revealed to be an EML 850 Light Freighter used during The Clone Wars to ensure safe transport through all kinds of environments. Since it never went into mass production, this is a rare prototype with its own story before ending up in the player’s hands. While the side activity to rescue a random ship involves more kindly folk, everyone is at risk of being attacked by space pirates, from smugglers to syndicates.

Upon arriving on Mos Eisley in Tattooine, it’s noted that there’s more than one settlement to discover on the planet. Check out the full video below for even more details.

Star Wars Outlaws launches on August 30th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
