Star Wars: Squadrons Out on October 2nd, Includes Cross-Play and VR Support – Rumor

Gameplay will also reportedly be showcased at EA Play Live 2020.

The leaks for Motive Studios’ Star Wars: Squadrons seemingly continue. The game’s press release recently went live (and was subsequently pulled) but it seems that the space dogfighting title will release on October 2nd. It will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam, Origin and Epic Games Store.

The story takes place after the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and campaigns for single-player and multiplayer are seemingly included. Some of the cooler features include cross-play support between consoles and PC, and VR support on the PC. A gameplay video will also be showcased at EA Play Live 2020 on Thursday.

Star Wars: Squadrons will receive its first trailer later today, after which the official details should go live. Stay tuned in the meantime. EA Play Live 2020 is currently set for June 18th at 4 PM PDT. A Way Out developer Hazelight Studios’ next co-op game has recently been confirmed to appear.
