Stardew Valley Developer Teases New Festival, Items, and Secrets in Update 1.6

There's also a mystery addition that fans will probably learn more about in the coming months. A release date is still pending, though.

Remember when Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone announced update 1.6 for Stardew Valley? Stated to have less content than update 1.5, Barone teased some significant additions in a new tweet.

These include a new festival and items, along with more dialogue and secrets to uncover. There’s also a cryptic “???” which likely won’t be revealed until the update is closer to launch. There’s no release date yet, so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

Stardew Valley is available on iOS, Android, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation Vita. Barone is also working on Haunted Chocolatier, an action RPG where players make chocolate in a haunted castle. You’ll scavenge for resources and ingredients, and the combat is more action-heavy than Stardew Valley.

While there are no new details, Barone did confirm that Haunted Chocolatier’s town is “on the water” and there are “docks.” It is going to take some time to release, so sit tight.
