While the handy Steam Link has been available to Android smartphone users and select Samsung smart TVs for awhile, the app hasn’t been open to iOS users. Looks like that finally changed, as Apple has approved the app so that mobile users in the Apple ecosystem can stream their games to their devices.
The app was rejected once before, early last year. While it had been approved before hand, apparently due to issues with the app the original review team had missed, it was later rejected. It now seems Valve has resubmitted, and it’s been approved this time with no take backs.
The app allows you to stream your Steam library to your mobile devices from your computer. With this app you can stream games to iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. You can see the app listing here. It will require you to have a device with iOS 11 or higher, and a computer able to run your games in Steam. The Steam controller and any other MFI Controller can be paired with your iOS devices as well.
