SteamWorld Quest: The Hand of Gilgamech Releases on May 31st for PC

The card-battler RPG is currently available on Nintendo Switch.

Image and Forms’ SteamWorld Quest: The Hand of Gilgamech first released on April 25th for the Nintendo Switch. Thankfully, it won’t take long for PC users to get in on the fun. The development team has announced that card-battling RPG will be coming to Steam on April 25th.

Taking place in a medieval setting with steampunk robots, SteamWorld Quest sees players creating decks of cards to fight off enemies in turn-based battles. With more than 100 cards to choose from, there’s a good amount of variety on offer. You also encounter various colourful characters, some of which will join you on your journey.

SteamWorld Quest: The Hand of Gilgamech received fair amount of critical acclaim at launch. The Switch version currently has an 80 Metascore with 46 publications weighing in. Many appreciated the game’s humour and gorgeous visuals, even if the plot isn’t too crazy. How will the PC version fare, and what changes will the developer make?
