SteamWorld Quest - Hand of Gilgamech

Steampunk robots meet might and magic in Image & Form Games’ SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech. Set to release on April 25th for the Switch via the Nintendo eShop, the developer has released a launch trailer to appropriately prep for the journey ahead. Check it out below.

Touted as the development team’s first RPG, SteamWorld Quest has players leading a party of heroes on an epic adventure. Combat is handled by way of punch-cards. You prepare your deck and draw these cards during battle to use on enemies. There are over 100 unique punch-cards, and you’ll be able to craft and upgrade them throughout the game.

Otherwise, the trademark SteamWorld humour is intact, along with the unique aesthetic, fantastical elements like dragons, and much more. SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech retails for $24.99 on the Nintendo eShop. It will head to other platforms later (which we assume means a PC release at some point).
