Street Fighter 6’s New Outfits for the Launch Roster Cost $100 in Total

Each outfit costs 300 Fighter Coins or about $6, but you can spend a whopping $100 for 5400 Fighter Coins to get them all.

Capcom has released Outfit 3 for Street Fighter 6’s base roster, which includes shinobi outfit for Kimberly, pyjamas for Juri, a Blanka-chan suit for Blanka and even Luke’s original look from Street Fighter 5. Check out the trailer here to see them in action and learn about some the new battle changes in this update.

Unfortunately, these outfits can’t be unlocked in World Tour – you can only purchase them with Fighter Coins. Each costs 300 Fighter Coins or about $6, but you can purchase the entire pack for 5400 Fighter Coins. You’ll need to buy two 2750 Fighter Coin Packs for $49.99 each for $100 overall. Remember that the Deluxe Edition costs $84.99 and includes the base game, Year 1 DLC characters with alternate colors for their outfits and 4200 Drive Tickets.

Of course, you don’t have to buy all the outfits, but it’s still a pretty hefty price for just a handful, especially since there’s no way to earn Fighter Coins in-game. As for Year 1 DLC characters like Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma, they’ll arrive after Akuma’s launch next year.

Street Fighter 6 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4 and PC. Check out our review here. Despite positive acclaim and over 2.47 million units sold, it’s received some backlash for the pricing of its microtransactions. With the controversy over Mortal Kombat 1’s cosmetic prices, it remains to be seen if Capcom will backtrack at any point.
