NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is finally here. It packs the base game, Kombat Pack 1, the Aftermath expansion and the new Kombat Pack 2 which adds Rain, Mileena and Rambo to the game (along with their own unique skins, Fatalities and so on). Along with releasing on previous-gen platforms, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate marks the series’ debut on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. These versions offer improved visuals and run at dynamic 4K resolution with quicker loading times. Cross-platform, along with cross-gen, multiplayer is also included and previous-gen owners on PS4 and Xbox One can upgrade to the next-gen versions for free.

Those interested only in Kombat Pack 2 can upgrade their base version for just $14.99. Though it carries the “Ultimate” tagline, we don’t expect this to be the end of support for Mortal Kombat 11. So stay tuned for more details and possible leaks in the coming months.

NetherRealm Studios has released gameplay trailers for Rain and Rambo, both coming to Mortal Kombat 11 in Kombat Pack 2 (and the Ultimate version of the game). All that’s left is Mileena, Kitana’s evil twin and a truly brutal fighters. Check out her moves below.

Mileena has always been about biting chunks off her opponents when she’s not slashing or throwing Sai. But this iteration makes good use of teleportation as well, throwing opponents all over the place. She can even go temporarily invisible (though a purple haze reveals her location).

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2 are available on November 17th. The former will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch, offering the base game with all of its expansions and DLC fighters. Those who own the current-gen versions can upgrade to next-gen free of cost and experience faster load times, dynamic 4K resolution and other visual improvements.

As part of Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack 2, Rambo will be receiving a dedicated gameplay breakdown on the Kombat Kast next week. In the meantime, NetherRealm Studios has released a new trailer that showcases some of the action star’s skills. Check it out below.

Rambo fights primarily with a bowie knife but is capable of laying traps and setting C4. He can also crawl on his belly to move forward while avoiding any projectiles, closing the distance at an admittedly slow pace. Of course, if you want to dish out the projectile damage, then switching to Rambo’s bow will do the trick. Keep an eye out for the iconic battle between Rambo and Terminator later on in the trailer.

Kombat Pack 2 is out on November 17th and along with Rambo, it includes Mileena and Rain. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is out on the same day for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch and PC. It contains the base game, Aftermath and both Kombat Packs.

Mortal Kombat 11 has another Kombat Pack coming up in November which adds fan-favorite characters Rain and Mileena along with newcomer John Rambo. While Rain has received a gameplay reveal trailer, the Kombat Kast recently assembled for a more detailed breakdown of his moves. Check it out below.
