From April 15th, Hogwarts Legacy and PlateUp! for PS5 and PS4 are also playable alongside Battlefield 1 on PS4 and Lost Records: Bloom and Rage – Tape 2 on PS5. Premium subscribers get exclusive access to classics like survival horror legend Alone in the Dark from the PS One era and War of the Monsters (PS2).

Both titles are playable on PS4 and PS5, though Sony notes that the latter might play differently or lack some features due to the lack of PS2 peripheral support.

While PS4 players have plenty to look forward to, PS Plus will no longer consistently offerr PS4-only titles starting next year in January. Games available for PS4 and PS5 will remain unaffected.

Among other contemporary titles are Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, Arcade Paradise, Bang-On Balls: Chronicles, You Suck at Parking, and Syberia – The World Before for PS4 and PS5. PS4 players can look forward to Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.

As for Premium-exclusive offerings, there’s Arcade Paradise VR for PlayStation VR2. The Classics are arguably more endearing, though, as they include Armored Core 1, Armored Core: Project Phantasma, and Armored Core: Master of Arena for PS4 and PS5. Those who enjoyed Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon may want to check them out.

As for the lackluster PS4-only offerings, Sony already confirmed plans to wind down on the same, only occasionally offering them past January 2026. Head here for more details.

PS5 players can look forward to Atlas Fallen: Reign Of Sand while PS4 players get Sayonara Wild Hearts and, oddly, enough, Poker Club. Of course, the latter is backwards compatible on PS5, further expanding the line-up for current-gen owners.

Exclusive to Premium subscribers are two PlayStation Classics – Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings from the PS2 era and MediEvil 2 on the PS One with rewind, up-rendering, and quick save. Both are playable on PS4 and PS5, and the former is a great way to prepare for the arrival of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle this Spring for PS5.

It also confirmed that FBC: Firebreak is years after the events of Control. As the first responders for the Federal Bureau of Control, players must deal with threats to its headquarters, the Oldest House. Though the location carries over from Control, it’s reimagined from the ground up to facilitate the co-op mayhem. The developer also discusses humor and looking at ways to incorporate it into the game.

FBC: Firebreak launches in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It will launch on day one for PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. Remedy isn’t pursuing a live-service model but will release additional content after launch. How much it will cost is unknown, but it’s described as “mid-priced.” Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

In its recent press release, Remedy referred to the title as “mid-priced” and discussed Crisis Kits. These are essentially loadouts, with the paranatural augments providing “unique powers” to “alter the course of the battle.” Communications director Thomas Puha likened these to Ultimates and implied they could turn against you if you’re not careful. Crisis Kits are customizable, with support items and grenades also available.

FBC: Firebreak launches in 2025. Though Remedy doesn’t consider it a live service title, it will offer free content post-launch. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months. The developer is also working on Control 2 and Max Payne 1 and 2 Remake, while Alan Wake 2’s second and final expansion, The Lake House, launches on October 22nd.

Sony has confirmed via a recently published tweet that Sea of Stars will be available via the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog at launch, which means PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will be able to dive right in without having to purchase the game. Considering the fact that the game is also confirmed to be available on Game Pass on day one, that doesn’t come as a massive surprise.

Sea of Stars is set to launch on August 29 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A demo of the game is also currently available on all platforms.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can both look forward to a number of notable PS4 and PS5 titles joining the service’s library. A number of Assassin’s Creed titles are included, including Odyssey, Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered, and the Chronicles trilogy. Several Dragon Quest games are also being added, with Dragon Quest 11, Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2, and Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2.

Other notable additions include Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, Inside, The Medium, and more.

Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus Premium members will also get access to additional legacy titles, including the likes of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 Remastered, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Limbo, Ultra Street Fighter 4, and more.
