PS5 players gain access to the Standard Edition of Wild Hearts, Koei Tecmo’s ill-fated action RPG, and Ride 5. On the PS4 side, there are PS Plus re-releases like Watch Dogs 2 and Naruto to Bortuo: Shinobi Striker alongside Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, and Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization.

If that’s not enough SAO, Premium subscribers gain exclusive access to the PS3 version of Sword Art Online: Lost Song, playable on PS4. Everyone else can settle in with TimeSplitters, TimeSplitters 2, and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect for PS4 and PS5. Finally, PS VR/VR2 users can experience Vacation Simulator. Microsoft has announced some new titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers this month. On January 9th, it’s 11 bit Studios’ Frostpunk: Console Edition and Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. On January 16th, vaunted fighting game Tekken 7 joins the roster.

It’s a pretty solid line-up, especially with Grand Theft Auto 5 having been added to the service earlier this month. Frostpunk: Console Edition includes, along with the base game, a solid amount of free content like Endless Mode, new maps, The Fall of Winterhome, and more. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a solid hack and slash game for those that care about the anime.

Tekken 7, meanwhile, offers a meaty fighting game with numerous characters, a campy story mode, and Treasure Battle for unlocking cosmetic rewards. Though it doesn’t seem to have all of the Season Pass content, it’s still a great fighting game.

Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, the new game based on the bafflingly successful anime and cross media franchise, is almost here- at least, for fans of the series in the west. Ahead of its release later this week, the publisher has decided to share more story details about it.

The game will see you enter the Gun Gale Online game, where you unexpectedly obtain the ArFA-Sys, and have to collect all its parts and keys before you are admitted to a spaceship, which is an additional dungeon that everyone playing the game seems to be trying to conquer.

I’m sure that for fans of the anime, that sounds exciting (to me, it sounds like a whole bunch of absolutely nothing, but hey, this game is clearly not for me). Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is due to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 23 in North America and Europe.
