Post-apocalyptic survival title Frostpunk has finally received Endless Mode, allowing its players to embark on long marathons of keeping their city in working order. The free update recently went live and offers quite a lot aside from just a base “endless” experience. Check out the features trailer below to learn more.

Along with three new maps and frostlands that are randomized, players also have new city decorations to play around with. The Archives allow for collating and storing all the lore and information in the world for later reading. On top of this, Endless Mode offers two different ways to play – Endurance and Serenity.

Endurance challenges players to survive for as long as possible against all odds. Serenity relaxes the harsh weather, provides more resources, and essentially lets players to focus on building and management. Random events and new sites await in each difficulty, thus providing some additional variety throughout. For more information on Frostpunk, check out GamingBolt’s official review here.
