Game Overview:
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega.
It is set after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and stars series mainstay Goro Majima as its central protagonist.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio head Masayoshi Yokoyama also seems to suggest the game's release was brought forward so it wouldn't clash with Monster Hunter Wilds.
Previously set to launch on February 28 next year, the upcoming action-adventure spinoff is now set to launch a week earlier.
More new gameplay footage has emerged for the upcoming Like a Dragon spinoff, showcasing some beloved returning minigames.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio president Masayoshi Yokoyama also confirmed that its story is 1.3 to 1.5 times larger than Gaiden's.
The Deluxe Edition includes outfits and an extra Karaoke song alongside Kazuma Kiryu, Daigo Dojima, and more as crewmates.
Players can fight in the Colosseum, engage in Dragon Kart, sing Karaoke, and delve into the live-action Minato Girls scenario.
The action-adventure title stars Majima Goro as he becomes a pirate captain and ventures to Madlantis while searching for lost treasure.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has confirmed that its next major title will be revealed later this year at Tokyo Game Show.
"We can’t tell you what kind of game it is, but I will tell you, you’ll be surprised," the developer says.
