Sales for Luigi's Mansion 3 also hit 11.04 million as of December 31st 2021 while The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is at 3.85 million.

Along with announcing that the Nintendo Switch had sold over 100 million units till date, Nintendo also offered updated sales numbers on several titles. This includes newer games like Metroid Dread, which has sold 2.74 million copies as of December 31st 2021. That’s not bad, considering it launched on October 8th and is the first major title in the series since Metroid: Samus Returns from 2017.

Mario Party Superstars performed very well, as expected, with 5.43 million sales since its October 29th launch. The other new title released in the quarter was Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain with 1.28 million sales since launching on December 3rd. Game Builder Garage managed to sell 1.01 million units while WarioWare: Get It Together!, which launched in September 2021, hit 1.24 million sales.

Other noteworthy numbers include Luigi’s Mansion 3 at 11.04 million sales; Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury selling 8.85 million units; The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD at 3.85 million sales; New Pokemon Snap at 2.36 million sales; Mario Golf: Super Rush at 2.26 million units sold; and Miitopia at 1.63 million sales.
Meanwhile, Switch-exclusive WarioWare: Get it Together! comes in at second place, selling over 72,000 units in its debut week.

Famitsu has released the latest weekly charts for software and hardware sales in Japan, and last week saw quite a bit of activity on the software front in particular, thanks to a couple of major new releases. The biggest one was Tales of Arise, of course, which has sold over a million copies worldwide already- global success that, unsurprisingly, is reflected in its Japanese sales as well. The PS4 version of the game takes the top spot, selling over 151,000 units, while the PS5 version comes in at No. 3 with over 50,000 units sold.

Sandwiched between the two is WarioWare: Get it Together!, which has also enjoyed an impressive debut in its own right, selling over 72,000 copies. The Nintendo Switch version of Ys 9: Monstrum Nox also launched last week, and debuted in ninth place, selling over 7,000 copies.

Meanwhile, on the hardware front, the Nintendo Switch continues to be the top seller, with over 67,000 units sold last week. The PS5 is the second-best performer, though it trails the Switch by quite a margin, having moved over 16,000 units over the course of the week.

There's a total of four new releases in the top 10 of the charts, with NBA 2K22 debuting in third place and Life is Strange: True Colors at No. 6.

The charts for boxed video game sales in the UK for the previous week are in (via GamesIndustry), and it was a pretty eventful week, with a total of four new releases charting in the top 10, including in the top 2 positions. Taking the top spot is WarioWare: Get it Together!, which, in spite of being one of Nintendo’s lower-selling launches (with physical launch sales lower than Miitopia), comes out on top.

In second place is Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco’s recently released and acclaims action RPG. It has sold more than twice as much at launch as fellow Bandai Namco action RPG Scarlet Nexus did when it launched earlier this year. 58% of Tales of Arise’s sales came on the PS5, 28% on the PS4, 13% on Xbox Series X/S, and 1 on PC.

There are a couple more new releases charting high in the top 10. NBA 2K22, for instance, comes in at No. 3, which has sold about half of what NBA 2K21 did at launch last year, though that may, of course, be offset by digital sales. 46% of its sales are on PS5, 27% on PS4, 13% on Xbox One, 10% on Xbox Series X/S, and 2% on the Nintendo Switch.

Finally, there’s also Life is Strange: True Colors, which debuts in sixth place with 54% of its copies sold on PS5, 28% on PS4, and 18% on Xbox Series X/S.

You can check out the full top 10 for the week ending September 11 below.

The latest entry in the frantic and also eccentric microgames collection is out today, and Wario implores you to please buy his game.

The WarioWare series holds a special place in the hearts of those that love it. The wacky series has always been one filled with strange and hilarious microgames featuring a cast of eccentric characters hovering around the man himself, Wario. Get it Together! is the latest entry on the Switch, with a big focus on multiplayer and co-op, as well as putting those characters directly in those games for the first time. And Wario wants you to buy it.

In what can probably be considered a Micro Launch trailer, a 30 second affair, we’re let known the game is out now. We get to see footage of various of the games and its loose collection of story vignettes of the characters of WarioWare getting sucked into a gaming handheld (which you can see more of both through here). In the short video, Wario also makes sure we know it’s his game, and he wants you to buy it at all costs. Check it out below.

WarioWare: Get it Together! is available now on Nintendo Switch. There is also still a demo available on the system if you want to try it out yourself.

Get a look at the chaotic and glorious mess of what co-op can be in the minigame-based gameplay of WarioWare in this latest entry.

Those who know and love the WarioWare series know that it can be a chaotic and crazy time. The franchise has been through many different iterations, always finding something just different enough to keep things fresh while still keeping the frantic pace of the minigame-based gameplay that’s defined it ever since the very first entry way back on the Gameboy Advance. The next entry, Get It Together!, is really no different as now the cast of characters themselves are directly getting involved in the minigames, and it also has a new co-op focus that was highlighted today.

Via the official Nintendo YouTube, we got a look at some co-op gameplay. As expected, the co-op aspect ends up creating a new layer of craziness, especially for minigames that your partner may not be prepared for. Speaking of, the video also has a few new minigames that we haven’t seen. You can check it out in full below.

WarioWare: Get It Together! will launch on the Switch September 10th. If you want to try it out yourself, there is also a demo available now.

The next WarioWare game is out in a little over two weeks, and Nintendo has released a new trailer to prepare fans for what's in store.

The WarioWare series is going to make its awaited comeback very soon, with WarioWare: Gt it Together! just a few days ahead from launch. And ahead of its release, Nintendo has released an overview trailer to give you a taste of what to expect from the microgames, the playable characters, story mode, and more. Check it out below.

The game will have over 200 unique microgames, each played with just a single analog stick and button. A few examples of these are shown in the trailer, and look like regular Wario stuff, which is good. Several playable characters will also be available, each with their own unique abilities and movement options. Local co-op is also supported, of course.

There’s also a story mode, as well as the Variety Pack, the latter of which will allow players to complete against each other in various microgames. Multiplayer will support up to four players. Meanwhile, there’s also Wario Cup, which will see challenges refreshing every week and players competing for high scores and fast times. Finally, there will also be plenty of cosmetic customization options for players to check out.

WarioWare: Get it Together! launches for Nintendo Switch on September 10. A free demo of the game is also available.

More details and gameplay footage for WarioWare: Get It Together! have been released during the Nintendo Treehouse event at E3 2021.

Following an announcement trailer at the Nintendo Direct event, Nintendo has showcased more gameplay details on the latest WarioWare: Get It Together! during its Nintendo Treehouse event. The segment – which you can check out below – includes more details on the game’s story mode as well as the game’s co-op implementation in action.

A story mode in WarioWare: Get It Together! will see Wario and/or a party of other characters completing a set of micro-games with a climactic boss fight at the end of the stage. Players are free to choose which of the distinct characters they’d want to play as.

There’s also a co-op mode, as showcased earlier as well, which allows 2 players to play locally. Since players have no control over which specific character in a party gets to play which micro-game, there’s also a level of randomness involved which provides longevity and replayability to the experience. WarioWare: Get It Together! comes out on October 10th, exclusively for the Switch.

The Nintendo Direct E3 presentation has commenced and brings with it a bunch of new game announcements and updates. The latest entry in the WarioWare franchise, titled WarioWare: Get It Together! has just been announced with a hilarious new trailer.

WarioWare: Get It Together! seems to be more WarioWare, which isn’t a complaint by any means. New characters also make an appearance with abilities specifically curated for a whole new set of microgames. All in all, there are over 200 “quick and quirky microgames”, according to the game’s page on the official Nintendo website. In addition to this, the game also features 2 player co-op. WarioWare: Get It Together! launches on the Nintendo Switch on September 10 this year. Check out the trailer below for more details.

There’s still no confirmation on whether online co-op is supported, but more details are sure to be announced soon.
