We take a look at 30 of the best games available on Xbox Series X and discuss what exactly makes them so great in the first place.

The Xbox Series X has turned out to be a successful venture for Microsoft, and while the gaming giant hasn’t been the most consistent in terms of its first-party output – there has never really been a shortage of third-party games to help bridge that gap. With this feature, we will be running down 30 of the best Xbox Series X/S and discussing what exactly makes it all tick.

Back 4 Blood

Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood is a glorious tribute to Valve’s Left 4 Dead series, and while it definitely has a few flaws – that doesn’t detract from the fact that it is a really fun time with friends. There are plenty of enemy types and the encounters do a good job of mixing things up on a consistent basis, which makes it a consistently enjoyable experience that’s even better with friends.

PlayStation Now subscribers can stream and download Outer Wilds, Journey to the Savage Planet, WRC 10, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood in April.

PlayStation Now isn’t going to be around much longer, with Sony having confirmed that it’ll be merged with PlayStation Plus’ highest tier when the revamped service goes live this June, but until then, both services are separately going to keep on operating as they have. After recently having revealed the April 2022 lineup of games for PS Plus, Sony has now announced this month’s offerings for PS Now subscribers as well.

It’s a solid lineup, by and large. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is perhaps the one blotch, but other games in the lineup more than make up for that, with Mobius Digital’s seminal Outer Wilds being the highlight. Another sci-fi adventure, Journey to the Savage Planet, is also offered, while WRC 10 also joins the list.

All of these games will be available to stream and download for PlayStation Now subscribers starting tomorrow, April 5, so if you’re subscribed, you’ll soon have plenty of great games to dive into.

Nacon and KT Racing's rally racing simulator has been out for PC and consoles since September, and finally launches for Switch in a couple of months.

Publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing released rally racing sim WRC 10 to positive reception in September of last year. While a Switch version had been previously announced, since launch, the game has been available only on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Soon, however, that will be changing.

Nacon has confirmed that WRC 10 will be launching for the Nintendo Switch less than two months from now- on March 17, to be precise. With a packed career mode, a number of historical events, a healthy roster of courses and vehicles, and more, WRC 10 is a solid step up from its already solid predecessors, so fans of the genre on the Switch have reason to be excited.

In our review of WRC 10, we awarded it a score of 8/10, saying, “While not a monumental upgrade over past installments, WRC 10 makes some welcome changes to the formula that continue to make it a must-play for fans of the sport.” You can read our full review through here.

WRC 10 is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

WRC 10's November update adds the 2021 Acropolis Rally, while also bringing 5 new Historical Events.

KT Racing and Nacon’s WRC 10 launched earlier this year, and once again, continued the series’ trend of making meaningful improvements with each new game. Of course, the developer is continuing to expand on the experience further, and now, the November update has added more new content to the rally racing simulator.

WRC 10’s November update adds the 2021 Acropolis Rally, tasking players with driving through winding mountain roads and mind tricky cliff edges. This new rally is playable across all modes in the game. Meanwhile, there are also five new Historical Events that have been added to the game with this new update, which goes hand in hand with a new historical car- Richard Burns’ Subaru Impreza WRC. Check out the trailer for the update below to get more details.

WRC 10 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version still in the works. You can read our review of the game through here.

An incremental upgrade to a consistently solid franchise.

There’s something incredibly special about the World Rally Championship. For as many real-life racing leagues or driving games that exist, the WRC is certainly one of the most interesting, unique ways to get behind the wheel. I love the idea that whether it’s on a true track or just along a path in a jungle, it fulfills that dream of long, dangerous drives where you need to have mastered the craft to finish, much less succeed. Developer Kylotonn has done the tough deed of bringing the real-life WRC to your living room with steady upgrades over the past few installments since taking over the WRC franchise, and while WRC 10 isn’t as comprehensively new as it is an incremental upgrade over last year’s game, it still offers the most fine-tuned package the series has seen and rivals some of the best licensed racing games on the market.

"While WRC 10 isn’t as comprehensively new as it is an incremental upgrade over last year’s game, it still offers the most fine-tuned package the series has seen and rivals some of the best licensed racing games on the market."

The core of WRC lies in the gameplay, where tuning your car to match the track, terrain, and conditions ahead of you can not only make or break your ability to beat a record or win a race, but your ability to finish the track at all. Every turn is a dangerous balance between drifting, stopping, or accelerating, and even straightaways aren’t always perfectly safe. Becoming familiar with the ways cars handle is vital to your success, and WRC 10’s upgrades on the handling front are mostly smaller changes, making the cars feel that much more varied and forcing you to make more precise decisions regarding turning, accelerating, and what risks you’re willing to take. The decisions translate to the car setup as well, which requires you to actively consider what you’ll be facing during your race, especially as you decide which tires to fit for your car. If you’re on a normal gravel course on a sunny day, hard gravel tires will do the trick, but try to bring those tires on a night with a blizzard and you’ll hit every wall the course has to offer or go flying off a mountainside.

Damage has gotten a slight precision upgrade, too, though it’s hard to tell such a difference when the damage goes to such a small level. There are multiple areas of your car that you can damage that go deeper than the normal car quadrants. If you crash head-first into barriers too often, then you might lose your headlights or, in a worst case scenario, destroy your engine, but if you drive too much on the edge of a mountain, you might lose one side of your tires and struggle with turning. The precision with both damage and driving does sometimes undermine itself, as it doesn’t always make total sense which part of your car was damaged or why you didn’t make a certain turn, but I’ll forgive it for the moments where you spin a perfect drift and catch a turn without a hitch.

What really makes the WRC series as a whole, and WRC 10 is no exception, is the amount of content it has to offer. While with other racing games there’s a tendency to want to run the same courses over and over, there are so many different tracks here that it’s forgivable if you completely forget how a certain track is laid out by the time you come back to it. Among the new tracks this year are Croatia, Estonia, and Spain, each of which just adds to the amount of variety and enjoyability that the game offers. The tracks are all gorgeous, too, whether it’s raining, bright and sunny, or dimly lit. Of course, the tracks aren’t static either, and they change dramatically when certain weather and day-night effects come into play, each of which is much more impressive on the next-gen consoles than in past games. There really isn’t a way to run out of content in WRC 10 at all, since you’ll always be working to perfect a course with any number of combinations of tires, weather, or light.

"What really makes the WRC series as a whole, and WRC 10 is no exception, is the amount of content it has to offer."

Career Mode is the key way the WRC series has structured its gameplay over the past few years, and this year’s career is mostly similar to last year’s with a few upgrades. The basic structure of the Career is that you are a rally driver that manages every aspect of your team, from the off-track team management and R&D to the on-track racing and repairs. Every month, there are four time slots that are used for a single activity, from a rally to team building or even resting. There are some nuances to these aspects, such as the fatigue of certain team members that requires you to rest, but I wouldn’t say it’s as detailed off the track as something like F1’s MyTeam mode. On the track, though, races are even more complicated than normal, since you have to manage repair time for each part of your car between races. You don’t have the time or money to repair everything at once, so you sometimes have to make tough decisions to, say, leave your headlights at risk in favor of fixing your engine. All in all, the Career Mode is easily the best and most comprehensive way to play, giving you the best opportunity to see everything the game has to offer in one place.

The biggest new addition to this year’s entry is the Anniversary Mode, which you can experience either in the standalone mode or as single events in the Career. These races cover some of the most famous events and vehicles from the history of the sport to celebrate its 50th anniversary, including the Acropolis in Greece, the first WRC race. These races are special in their own right, since the game does a good job of making them feel like they’re historical events. They only unlock sequentially when you beat certain times, though, and the times are both very long and frustratingly strict. I had multiple races that had limits pushing 7 minutes that I missed by less than 10 seconds, and doing the entire race again is a little more stressful than it’s worth. That said, these races are enjoyable for what they are, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to prioritize this mode long-term over a Career.

On the technical front, the game benefits strongly from next-generation consoles both in presentation and performance. Klyotonn clearly put a lot of effort into sound upgrades, as the sound is much more dynamic and precise than ever before. Cars look beautiful as well, especially when you see them up close in the livery, though the character models from the crowds leave a bit more to be desired. Load times are impressive, too, as long races load in just a matter of seconds and cause almost no framerate drops or visual glitches.

"On the technical front, the game benefits strongly from next-generation consoles both in presentation and performance."

As compared to past versions of the WRC franchise, WRC 10 doesn’t add an incredible amount. Its Anniversary Mode is a great new place to see the history of the sport, and some of the tweaks are welcomed, but I don’t see it as a huge upgrade over last year. As it compares to other racing games, though, anyone looking for that feeling of rallying, especially requiring pinpoint precision and dynamic car changes, has another fantastic experience built for them, and anyone who hasn’t experienced the series before can jump into the best game in the series so far and find the best long-distance rally package on the market.

This game was reviewed on the Xbox Series X.

The Fall to Winter season is usually very big for games and that still holds true tihs year despite the number of titles delayed to 2022. Along with leading an army to battle with new tactical options, there are 10 unique companions that will fight alongside you. This is on top of 25 classes, 12 races and tons of different abilities and customization options that the classic Pathfinder combat that fans know and love (this time with a turn-based option at launch). Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous releases on September 2nd for PC.

WRC 10

Despite Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown being a year away, Nacon has WRC 10 releasing on September 2nd worldwide (September 7th for North America). Along with the Croatia Rally and Rally de Catalunya, the sequel will feature numerous historical cars like the Audi Quattro and Lancia Delta Group A to celebrate the World Rally Championship’s 50th anniversary. Considering the jump in quality that last year’s iteration offered, it may be worth checking out WRC 10 when it releases for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 in the coming days.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch

Set in Torch City following the Machine Legion’s invasion several years ago, players control Rayton, a former soldier trying to rescue his friend. At his disposal are a mechanical Power Fist, Whip and Drill which can be used to pull off some crazy combos. With a grungy but beautiful aesthetic and tons of areas to explore, F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch should be worth checking out for genre fans when it releases on September 7th for PS4, PS5 and PC.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate

It’s not everyday that a good Sonic game gets a remastered re-release but 2010’s Sonic Colors is thankfully getting another opportunity to shine. The Ultimate version is out on September 7th for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and PS4, and sees Sonic and Tails traveling to Doctor Eggman’s Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park to rescue the mysterious Wisps. Along with offering a mix of 2.5D side-scrolling and fast-paced 3D platforming, various mechanics like Boost and drifting are available. On top of this, Sonic can use eight different abilities from the Wisps, like drilling through the ground and transforming into a laser. In terms of improvements, expect a higher frame rate and resolution, the Jade Ghost Wisp, a re-recorded OST and Rival Rush for racing against Metal Sonic

The Artful Escape

First showcased in March 2017, The Artful Escape is finally nearing release after seeing numerous delays throughout the years. The musical platforming adventure sees one Francis Vendetti set to make his debut under the shadow of his legendary uncle and thus struggling to find his own identity. Thus does he embark on a psychedelic new journey through various musical landscapes, using his guitar to platform and battle foes. With a gorgeous art-style and sound-tracked effused with epic themes, The Artful Escape could end up being an underrated classic when it launches on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and iOS.

Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange returns and this time, empathy is your superpower. It’s a little more complicated than that for True Colors’ protagonist Alex Chen who reunites with her brother Gabe in Haven Springs. The scenic beauty and spirit of the community is ultimately unsettled when Gabe passes away from an accident. With the ability to read people’s emotions as different colors, Alex goes about investigating his death. Life is Strange: True Colors is a full release instead of being broken into episodes and is out on September 10th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Google Stadia.

Lost in Random

Lost in Random appears, at first, to be an action adventure title with a Tim Burton-esque aesthetic, centering on Even as she explores the Kingdom of Random to save her sister Odd. However, everything in Random is determined by games and Even must take part in game board-style battles to prevail. She’ll have Dicey on hand to help though – attacking enemies will power its abilities and unleash unique cards, whether it’s explosives or barriers. Out on September 10th, Lost in Random will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

NBA 2K22

Another year, another NBA 2K title and while I’m personally not a fan of the series microtransaction-laden gameplay, there is quite a bit that’s new in NBA 2K22. Gameplay-wise, precision jump shots, blocking and more are being changed; MyNBA returns with its customizable features (only on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 though) while MyWBNA is being introduced; and MyCareer’s The City is even larger while Hidden Talents provides alternate ventures like fashion and hip-hop. PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC players aren’t being swept aside entirely either thanks to the addition of the 2K Cruise, which offers unique Excursions and events in various locations. NBA 2K22 launches on September 10th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch so we won’t have to wait long to see how much it improves.

Tales of Arise

The Tales series returns with its biggest, most epic title to date in Tales of Arise. The story sees the denizens of Rena subjugating Dahna, enslaving its people and exploiting their resources. As Alphen, a Dahnan man without any memories, players team up with Shionne of Rena and embark on a journey to free the oppressed. Along with meeting other party members and traveling the world, players will utilize new skills like Boost Strike and Counter Edge in the revamped combat system. Activities like fishing, farming and more are also available along with the return of skits. Tales of Arise releases on September 10th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PC and PS5, and promises to be about as long as Tales of Berseria (which is a good thing).

Deathloop

Ever get that feeling of deja vu? For hitman Colt Vahn, it only felt like yesterday when he arrived on Blackreef to take out the Visionaries, a mysterious group harnessing the island’s technology to party eternally. It’s up to Colt to kill all of his targets before midnight, utilizing a mix of stealth, abilities and firearms before the loop resets. In the midst of all of this is agent Julianna, either controlled by AI or another player, who seeks to protect the loop (and mess with Colt as much as possible). With Arkane’s unique brand of sandbox gameplay and a rocking aesthetic, Deathloop promises to be a fun spin on the roguelite genre when it releases on September 14th for PS5 and PC.

Aragami 2

Much like the original, stealth and shadow control are key in Lince Works’ Aragami 2. This time around though, players have more freedom and opportunities to sneak around the world, playing alone or in three-person squads in co-op. A variety of powers and abilities are available while combat has been improved to be more skill-focused (though it’s still inherently riskier than stealth). Extensive customization, improved visuals and a more effective story should make Aragami 2 a cut above its predecessor when it releases on September 17th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Numerous delays haven’t dulled the beauty of Ember Lab’s upcoming action adventure title and it’s finally releasing on September 21st for PS4, PS5 and PC. Kena: Bridge of Spirits follows spirit guide Kena as she travels to a decrepit village and looks to ferry the spirits of its deceased to the afterlife. Along the way, Kena will meet small spirits called the Rot who will help solve puzzles and fight off enemies. With a soothing animated aesthetic and solid gameplay, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is looking very appealing.

Lake

Lake, an indie adventure from developer Gamious, looks to take players on a more grounded kind of escape when it releases on September 1st. As Meredith Weiss, you venture to Providence Oaks in Oregon for two weeks, taking a sabbatical from your old software development job to deliver the mail. Talk to and hang out with the different residents, or simply stay at home to read; experience branching storylines and ultimately determine your path in life. If a chill adventure game sounds good to you, then Lake may be worth checking out when it comes to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

Diablo 2: Resurrected

After the failure of Warcraft 3: Reforged (not to mention tons of controversy at Activision-Blizzard), Diablo 2 is next in line to be remastered. The visuals have been improved tremendously while still keeping true to the original’s aesthetic as players explore Sanctuary as one of seven classes to defeat the forces of evil. Support for 4K resolution, cross-progression and quality of life features like auto pick-up for gold and Shared Stash tabs make this a lot more inviting for today’s players but it’s still the classic action RPG that fans grew up with. Diablo 2: Resurrected releases on September 23rd for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Sable

Another interesting title in the “chill adventure” genre is Shedworks’ Sable, which releases on September 23rd for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Boasting gorgeous visuals, the story centers on Sable as she ventures out into the world to find a mask and complete her clan’s rite of passage. She’ll traverse dunes on her customizable hoverbike, investigate strange ruins and ultimately learn more about the mysterious world while forging her own path.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut

The journey of Sam and B.B. came to a relatively satisfying conclusion when Death Stranding released last year. However, the Director’s Cut – which launches on September 24th for PS5 – proves that there’s still room for improvement. It adds numerous new tools, like a Buddy Bot that can carry Sam and thrusters for safe landings when jumping from high places; the new Fragile Circuit for races, complete with time trials and leaderboards; a new Firing Range with practice and Ranked Drills; replays for boss fights; and some new story content that promises more stealth-based action. This is in addition to new graphics modes like upscaled 4K/60 FPS and native 4K, support for the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers and an option for PS4 players to upgrade to the Director’s Cut Digital Deluxe Edition on PS5 for just $10.

Lost Judgment

What defines justice? Former lawyer turned private detective Takayuki Yagami seeks to answer this while delving into a strange murder. Lost Judgment sees players venturing to Isezaki Ijincho to go undercover in a school and while there are activities like dancing, drone combat and boxing, themes of bullying and abuse also come to light. Overall, the sequel improves on pretty much every aspect of the original, adding a new combat Style, parkour for platforming, more in-depth stealth mechanics, better chase sequences and much more. It arrives on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One.

New World

Even with so many delays over the years – including a recent one from August to September – enthusiasm for Amazon’s New World is still strong. The MMO takes a somewhat different direction from its competition, focusing on the interactions between the three factions on Aeternum Island. Though the island has its own unique mysteries and PvE content, players will spend time creating settlements, battling those from other factions and establishing their own foothold. It’s out on September 28th for PC with a beta on September 9th but whether it can maintain its momentum after launch remains to be seen.

Hot Wheels Unleashed

Milestone’s Hot Wheels Unleashed may not be the most realistic-looking racer but it is looking to be the best possible Hot Wheels title ever made. With over 60 cars, from real-world vehicles to fantasy offerings like the Batmobile and Knight Rider, it offers a variety of twisting, turning tracks set in real-world environments. Players can also partake in the track builder and create their own unique courses, or go on online to challenge players (though offline split-screen is also available). Hot Wheels Unleashed arrives on September 27th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Xuan Yuan Sword 7

Released last October for PC, Xuan Yuan Sword 7 is coming to PS4 in September and offers hack and slash RPG action with the backdrop of Chinese mythology as Taishi Zao battles monsters and seeks to unravel the mystery behind a strange bamboo slip. Along with creating unique techniques, players can improve their armor and weapons while leveraging the fast-paced combat to dominate foes. As a somewhat off-beat option, it may be worth checking out when it releases on September 31st.

Here's everything you should know about the next instalment in Nacon's racing sim franchise.

The WRC license didn’t get off to the best of starts under the guidance of Kylotonn, but over the last couple of years, the developer has really come into its own and become increasingly confident in its abilities. Last year’s WRC 9 in particular was a solid treat for rally racing sim fans, and the hope is that the upcoming WRC 10 is going to keep the series’ upward trajectory going. We’re less than a month away from the game’s launch at this point, and there’s plenty that we’ve learned about it so far. Here, we’re going to take a look at the key details you should know about WRC 10.

RALLIES

Obviously, WRC 10 is going to include rallies from the new WRC season, which means that new rallies are also going to be included in the game. Of the twelve rounds of the season in the game, four of them are new rallies, namely the Croatia Rally, Rally Estonia, the Rally de Catalunya in Spain, and the Ypres Rally in Belgium.

HISTORY MODE

WRC 10’s launch coincides with a monumental occasion for the sport itself, what with the World Rally Championship celebrating its 50th anniversary. The game itself is going to commemorate that in a number of ways, which includes a history mode. As its name suggests, this mode will include 19 iconic events from throughout WRC history for players to experience.

HISTORICAL RALLIES

Of course, with historic events being included in the game, you can also expect some classic rallies and cars to also be featured. Where the former is concerned, WRC 10 is going to include 6 classes rallies (in addition to the events from the 2021 season). Of these six, a few have already been confirmed so far, including the likes of the Acropolis Rally in Greece and Rally San Remo in Italy.

HISTORICAL CARS

What about classic cars though? WRC 10 is promising a pretty vast and robust roster of vehicles on offer, and of these, 20 of them are going to be legendary cars from across WRC history from the likes of Subaru, Mitsubushi, Alpine, Audio, Ford, Toyota, Lancia, and more. A few of the classic cars that have been confirmed so far are the Alpine A110, the Lancia Delta Group A, the Citroën Xsara WRC, and the Audi Quattro.

TEAMS AND STAGES

The WRC games always display a lot of love for the sport, which usually materializes as comprehensive authenticity. And in its bid to be the most comprehensive WRC experience on offer, this year’s game is going to have a total of 52 teams, pulled in from WRC, WRC2, WRC3 and Junior WRC. In addition, there are also going to be a total of 120 stages for players to race through.

CAREER MODE

The WRC games have consistently been improving their career mode offerings year over year, and WRC 10 is promising some interesting improvements as well. The highlighting addition in this year’s game is the new livery editor, which means players are now going to be able to create their own teams. You can now also apply your own colours to cars, while the career mode will also feature better progression, crew management, and more.

PHYSICS

Physics are supremely important in any game that’s claiming to be an authentic racing simulation experience, which, of course, applies to WRC 10 as well, which is promising to improve on the solid foundations of its predecessors in this area as well. Crucially, the game has new suspension and aero models, which will introduce some dynamism to how different cars behave on different surfaces and terrains, while turbo and braking systems have also received overhauls.

VISUALS

WRC as a series doesn’t come close to the likes of DiRT Rally, Gran Turismo, or Forza Motorsport when it comes to visuals and production qualities, but they haven’t been anything to scoff at either. With WRC 10, developer Kylotonn is continuing to make further improvements, which includes added detail to roads and surfaces, improved vegetation, and more. All in all, it looks like there’s going to be a greater level of detail in all the stages and cars, which sounds like an exciting improvement.

AUDIO DESIGN

Just as important as the visuals in a racing sim is the audio design, if not more, and WRC 10 is making some key improvements here as well. Specific details are unknown right now, but Kylotonn says the game’s audio has been completely reworked, with plenty of emphasis being put on ensuring that each car sounds meaningfully different from others. Given the series’ constant bid for greater immersion, improved audio should be a pretty big deal for WRC 10.

CHALLENGES

WRC 10 is going to have plenty of content to keep players busy, it seems, and while the likes of career mode, co-op, and online play are going to make up the lion’s share of your play time in the game, there’s other ancillary stuff on offer as well. Specifically, there will be daily, weekly, and special challenges for players to take on, so even if you’re looking to dive in for short, bite-sized sessions of gameplay, WRC 10 is still probably going to have you covered.

PRICE AND PRE-ORDER BONUS

WRC 10 is going to be a little costlier on new-gen consoles, which is a trend that a few games have been following these days. On PS4 and Xbox One, the standard edition will cost $49.99, while on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, it will be priced at $59.99. Meanwhile, if you pre-order the game, you’ll also get a couple of bonuses in the form of the 1997 Subaru Imprezza and an exclusive historic event.

DELUXE EDITION

There will, of course, also be a deluxe edition. In addition to the base game (both current and next-gen versions), the package will also include the aforementioned pre-order bonuses, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo V, the Arena Panzerplatte SSS DLC, a career starter pack that includes 6 crew cards and livery graphics to get you started, and 48 hours of early access to the game.

PC REQUIREMENTS

If you’re planning on playing the game on PC, you’ll obviously be more concerned with its system requirements, which, thankfully, aren’t terrible demanding. Minimum requirements will require either an Intel Core i5-2300 or an AMD FX-6300 along with either a GeForce GT 1030 or AMD Radeon R7. Recommended settings, meanwhile, will need either an Intel Core i7-4790k or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 along with either a GeForce GTX 1070 or an AMD Radeon RX Vega 56.

SWITCH LAUNCH

WRC 10 is launching on September 2 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also confirmed, but if you do plan on playing it on Nintendo’s hybrid, you’re going to have to wait a little longer. Nacon says that the Switch version is going to arrive a little later than the other systems, though an exact release date for it is currently unknown.

Last month, publisher Nacon confirmed that it would be holding a new Nacon Connect event on July 6, and with the show right around the corner, the company has dropped new details on what to expect from it in a recent tweet- and apparently, it’s going to be a pretty packed showcase.

Nacon says tomorrow’s show is going to have thirteen new announcements for their upcoming games and accessories in total. Of those games, the ones that have been confirmed to be receiving new updates are GreedFall developer Spiders’ upcoming RPG Steelrising, the open world racing game Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, WRC 10, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, Blood Bowl 3, Session, and more.

On top of that, there are also going to be three new reveals, which should be interesting to see.

Nacon Connect is going live tomorrow, July 6, at 7 PM CEST. We’ll be covering all updates and announcements, of course, so stay tuned.

New rallies, new stages, historic rallies, and much more confirmed.

The WRC license might be shifting to Codemasters in a couple of years, but until then, developers Kylotonn have been doing great things with it. Their WRC games have been growing progressively better, to the extent that last year’s WRC 9 was a legitimately great rally racing sim. Now, as promised, publisher Nacon has officially unveiled WRC 10.

The reveal trailer itself is pretty brief, but the headlining additions for this year’s entry have been briefly detailed. WRC 10 will include four new 2021 rallies with Spain, Belgium, Estonia, and Croatia, while six historic rallies are also being introduced, including Germany, Acropolis, Argentina, and San Remo. The game will also feature 120 special tracks, 24 official licensed teams spanning the WRC, WRC2, WRC3, Junior WRC from the 2021 season, and 20 vehicles from Alpine, Audi, Lancia, Subaru, Ford, Mitsubishi, Toyota, and more. Meanwhile, Career Mode will also see new improvements, including the addition of a liveries editor.

WRC 10 launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) on September 2.

Nacon will also be providing an update on Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.
