The World of Darkness universe’s video game adaptations haven’t exactly been doing too well. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood was middling at best, while the highly anticipated Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’s development is in quite a bit of trouble, to say the least. Developer Big Bad Wolf and publisher Nacon, however, will be hoping that their upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will fare better.

At the E3 2021 PC Gaming Show, we got another look at the narrative-driven single player RPG. We don’t see a lot of gameplay footage, with the trailer mostly being a cinematic one, but there’s in-engine footage shown off. A Nacon Connect event is confirmed for July 6, so here’s hoping we see and hear more of the game there.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is due out for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC some time in 2021. No specific release date is currently announced.
