Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Comes In At 29GB on Xbox One

That’s not a whole lot of space, though it makes sense since this is a remaster of a last gen game.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition finally brings the beloved, fan favorite game, widely considered by fans to be the best game in the series, to modern consoles. Bandai Namco launched it for Xbox 360 a decade ago, followed by and an expanded version for the PS3, which had more story scenes and content.

That version never came out in the west, and fans never got to experience it. Worse still, the game never got ported to any other platform, or even added to the Xbox 360’s backward compatibility list, which meant that there was no easy way to play the game at all.

Definitive Edition finally fixes those problems, bringing the full expanded edition of the game to the west, and also bringing it to every modern platform on the market. And when it finally launches next month, it won’t take a lot of space on your hard drive either. The Xbox One version of the game will come in at 28.75GB, based on the listing on the Microsoft Store.

I assume the PS4 and PC versions will weigh in similarly, while the Switch version will presumably come in at under 20GB. Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition launches for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2019. Make sure to check out the recent story trailer for the game if you have not already.
