Ubisoft’s The Crew has entered closed beta testing today for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, allowing players to get their first taste of traveling across the United States (though missions are only available on two of the game’s maps). The publisher has also revealed the game’s minimum and recommended system requirements, detailing what hardware you’ll require for running it at 720p (lowest setting) and 1080p at medium-high settings.
Minimum PC System Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5 GHz or better, AMD Athlon II X4 620 @ 2.6 GHz or better
- RAM: 4 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or AMD Radeon HD 4870 (512 MB VRAM with Shader Model 4.0 or higher)
Recommended PC System Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.66 GHz or better, AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.0 GHz or better
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 or AMD Radeon HD 6870 (1024 MB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or higher)
Currently, supported video cards include the Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or better, GeForce 400/500/600/700 series (but only cards that are more powerful than the GTX 260), AMD Radeon HD 4870 or better, HD 5000/HD 6000/HD 7000/R-series (again, only cards better than the HD 4870).
