In The Crew Motorfest there are multiple distinct XP progression systems, color coded blue, orange, and green. Each of them is leveled up in a different manner. This guide for The Crew Motorfest will show you how to earn XP as quickly as possible for each of the XP systems.
Blue/Revisit/Solo Mode
This blue XP is exclusively intended to track your sole professional driving career, and can be farmed by participating in the following Activities:
Playlists
These are a curated series of races, and while generally quite long, there are a few that consist of short sprints that you can breeze through quite fast. The Hawaii Scenic Tour is the absolute simplest one. New Playlists will be released each season, so keep an eye out, as you get bored with the previous ones. Playlists can be farmed over and over even after the initial completion.
Side Activities
Tabbing over from the Playlist, you will find Side Activities, which tend to be fun little tasks to accomplish during the course of driving. The XP bonuses are not generally huge, often less than 1K, but the Photos Ops confer as much as 8K XP each. Specific cars are required to participate in some Side Activities.
Core & Time-limited Challenges
Upon completion of a Playlist, the relevant Challenges will be unlocked as well. These will be listed under Activities, and confer rewards in the form of both Bucks and XP. These Challenges can help change things up a little between grinding for large XP bonuses from Playlists. Clothes and Vanities will also drop from successfully completing Challenges. Specific cars are required to participate in Challenges, but the payouts can help subsidize the cost of ownership. You must return to the Challenges screen and manually claim your reward.
Orange/Compete/PvP/Summit Contest
The orange XP bar is tied entirely to multiplayer head to head content.
- Summit Challenges roll over each week and require specified vehicles to participate. Once you are in, your placement is determined by your score.
- Destruction Royale is a kind of Battle Royale mode wherein the last car or crew standing wins. XP multipliers are based on crew placement.
- Grand Races are a 28 player championship style tournament, with placement determining the XP multipliers that will be applied to the base XP earned.
None of these modes can really be farmed, as all rewards are performance based, and you will simply have to place well in order to earn those XP multipliers.
Green/Explore/Free Roam
This green XP is actually quite the most enjoyable to both earn normally and farm too. Simply drive around hunting for Collectables, and Treasures. The Treasures especially have XP bonuses inside, as well as Parts and Bucks. The actions and Feats you perform in the course of cruising the roads, be it drifting, speeding, or jumping, all contribute towards green XP.
Escape Feats are another option for actively farming Bucks. Select an Escape Feat that you find easy enough to comfortably complete–this is entirely subjective. Begin the Escape Feat and complete it. This only takes a few seconds. Upon completion, immediately hit the Retry prompt on the right side of the screen. Your 1200 XP bonus will still be processed, and you will be instantly teleported to the start of the Escape Feat to start it again. Rinse and repeat as much as your patience can take. This can also be done with Speed Trap Feats, but the payout is only 400 XP per attempt, which is okay since it also takes a lot less time than an Escape Feat too.
That is everything to know about quickly leveling up the multiple XP systems in The Crew Motorfest.
