The Division Has 9.5 Million Registered Players, Far Cry Primal and Rainbow 6 Siege Doing Well

Division players averaging three hours of gameplay per day.

Tom Clancy’s The Division may have its problems but it’s still a massive success for Ubisoft. This was evident when it was announced as the largest new IP launch in history and in its latest earnings report, the publisher announced 9.5 million players had registered thus far. “Active” players are averaging three hours per day in the game, though the actual number of those active wasn’t revealed.

Far Cry Primal has also been a strong success for Ubisoft. It “exceeded expectations” and had “best performance ever for a game released in the month of February.” Rainbow Six Siege, despite its variety of issues over the past few months, also managed to “doubled its audience” with daily active users at 60 percent of the peak.

According to Ubisoft, this was a “clear illustration of the exceptional retention power of the game’s multiplayer mode” and a “remarkable performance” four months after launch. What are your thoughts on the success of the above three games? Let us know in the comments below.
