PlayStation Experience ended on a high note with Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us: Part 2 showcased for the first time. The game is in “early development” as per Sony’s Shawn Layden and running on the studio’s updated engine. Suffice to say, it looks pretty as all get out.
The Last of Us: Part 2’s trailer sees Ellie, playing a guitar and singing about murder as what seems to be Joel walks into the room. Ellie has killed quite the contingent of what appear to be Firefly soldiers (the militia from the first game) and talks about killing “all of them”.
What happened is why is Ellie so blood-thirsty? We’ve got a long wait before we eventually find out.
The Last of Us: Part 2 is of course exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and may very well release in 2018. What are your thoughts on this first trailer though? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more details from PlayStation Experience.
