Millions of people are fervently looking forward to Naughty Dog’s upcoming The Last of Us Part 2. It would be fair to say, in fact, that it’s among the most hotly anticipated games over the next few years. And apparently that doesn’t just apply to fans, but to the people working on the game itself as well.
Naughty Dog’s game designer Asher Einhorn recently took to Twitter to talk about the upcoming PS4 exclusive, mentioning that this is probably the most excited he’s been for a game while he’s actually working on its development, before mentioning that it’s going to be “freakin’ unreal”.
I know what you mean, Asher. I mean, I’m not making The Last of Us Part 2, but I’m sure as hell incredibly hyped for it, as I’m sure millions and millions of others are as well. Now if only Sony could announce a release date for the game. In an update from last week, they confirmed that Naughty Dog was still polishing up the experience and that they weren’t ready to confirm release date, but recent rumours have pegged it for a 2019 release.
