The Last of Us Upcoming DLC Will Be Multiplayer Focused

Despite announcing new DLC, don't expect any more campaign additions.

The Last of Us: Remastered will be out by the end of July on PlayStation 4 but Naughty Dog continues to support the PlayStation 3 version. It recently announced some DLC that will be out later this year for both versions and which supports Cross Buy. This means you can pick it up for one console and automatically play it on another.

However, you shouldn’t expect any new campaign material soon. Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer told Digital Spy that, “We just wanted to say when we released the Remastered version, we know there’s a lot of DLC out there, and that we weren’t going to stop supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions. We do have some DLC planned, it’ll be multiplayer focused.

“We’re not ready to talk about the details yet, but throughout the rest of the year we’ll have some DLC drops.”

Those picking up The Last of Us: Remastered will net all previous DLC released till now. Thoughts? Let us know below.
