The extremely positive reception to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues. After walking away with top honors at E3 (including winning our own Best of Show award!), Zelda also swept the Gamescom awards, walking away with the Best of Show award (in addition to the best Wii U game award)- that’s another feather in the cap for Nintendo’s upcoming game ahead of its release next year.
Elsewhere, EA and DICE’s Battlefield 1 managed to score well with the best game award by popular choice, as well as the best action game award, while PlayStation VR took home the honors of being the best hardware on display at the show.
All in all, it seems to have been a good show with an impressive display of games- the coming year or so will be really amazing for fans of games all around, no matter their platform of choice, that’s for sure.
