The Outer Worlds Releases June 5th For Nintendo Switch

The RPG finally gets its Switch release.

The coronavirus pandemic caused the closure and delays of a lot of things in the gaming industry, from conventions to releases. One of those was the Switch version of The Outer Worlds. The old school style RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division was at one point slated to release March 6th for Nintendo’s hybrid system, but was delayed. Now, though, we know when we will get this baby on the go.

As announced via the official Nintendo of America Twitter, this version of the game will now release at the beginning of June. The game saw strong reception and had last been said to have sold over 2 million units. We haven’t seen much from the Switch version, but fingers crossed that it will run and look reasonably well.

The Outer Worlds will launch on Nintendo Switch June 5th both digitally and physically, with a day one patch said to be roughly six gigs coming with it. The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
