The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct looks “a hundred times better” than the fan video footage- devs

Terminal Reality assures people that The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct's visuals have improved greatly.

A fan made trailer for the upcoming The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct was recently released, put together using the little gameplay footage that had been released till then, and it was met with negative reception all over, with people saying that the visuals looked terrible.

However, developer Terminal Reality wants to assure everyone that the footage in that video was from a version of the game when it was still in the early stages of development and that it looks much better now.

“Essentially it was old footage, it was yes, from The Walking Dead and it was from another interview I had done, but the game’s in development,” Producer Glenn Gamble told Digital Spy.

“It’s going to continue to get better,” Gamble said. “You saw the graphics [at a press event in London], I know that was a big deal, you saw them, they looked a hundred times better than what they did.

“A game is constantly in development, time is the ultimate enemy of any game. If we had huge budgets and four years to run, games would look a lot better and visually more stunning. Sometimes you have to show what you got to get people interested and get the ball rolling.”

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct releases in March. Stay tuned for more updates.
