The Witcher 3 Switch Developer Is Working On A New Patch

The handheld version of the game will get more updates in the future.

Thanks to the current Netflix show, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is enjoying a new breath of life. It’s helped the game have an impressive revival via Steam, for instance, and given the IP level of attention it never had before. You can even take the game on the go, if you want, with the Switch version that released last October. Despite being a technical miracle though, that version still has some issues, and developers of the port Saber Interactive are working on fixing some of these.

On a post the developer shared about other games on VK, several users asked about when an update would come for the portable version of the game. They responded with an enthusiastic response, saying they were hard at work on it.

Unfortunately, there’s no details given about when we can expect it, or what the update will entail, but hopefully we’ll find out soon. While the Switch version runs relatively well considering the circumstances, there’s still several issues that could be ironed out. If you’re curious about some of the technical wizardry that went into the port, you can read about that through here.
