Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ Standard Physical Edition on Xbox One Doesn’t Allow Xbox Series X/S Upgrade

While the game's physical Standard Edition on the PS4 allows a paid digital upgrade to PS5, the same is not possible on Xbox.

With most major games that launch these days, there’s always some caveat to how their upgrades from PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are offered, and it seems the same is the case with the looming Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands as well.

As confirmed on the game’s official FAQ page, while those who purchase a physical copy of the game’s Standard Edition on the PS4 will be able to upgrade to a digital PS5 version for an additional cost, physical Xbox One Standard Edition copies simply do not allow the option to upgrade to Xbox Series X/S- even for a cost.

That said, if you purchase the physical versions of the Next-Level Edition or the Chaotic Great Edition on the Xbox One (both of which are costlier than the Standard Edition), a digital Xbox Series X/S version of the game will be included in the purchase.

As it is, the Standard Edition costs $59.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, but $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches on March 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the game’s PC requirements through here.
