TitanFall Beta Doesn’t Require Pre-Ordering – Respawn CEO

Vince Zampella would give it to pre-ordering consumers first if he could though.

Respawn Entertainment co-founder and CEO Vince Zampella has clarified on Twitter that the upcoming beta for TitanFall on the Xbox One and PC will not require pre-ordering either game.

“You will not need to have the game preordered to get in the beta. I’d give it to them first for supporting us if it were possible though.”

This follows the initial leaks that suggested you would need to pre-order the game from retailers like GameStop in order to get in on the beta. While Zampella revealed that the beta would be taking place in February, it’s only just now been confirmed that you don’t need to pre-order.

Regardless, given the hype and anticipation for TitanFall, it only makes sense to get your copy as soon as possible if you’re into multiplayer gaming. It will be releasing on March 11th in North America and March 14th in the UK for Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360. As of now, there are no plans for an Xbox 360 version beta.
